Event at Christ Church Lutheran.
November 27, 2007 - Christ Church Lutheran hosted the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historian’s annual Works in Progress program at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27th. The program, open to the public, provided an opportunity for writers and researchers to present recent scholarly findings on regional architectural history topics.
November’s agenda included a presentation by Kristin Anderson on Twin Cities Baseball Parks of the nineteenth century; an exploration of immigrant Catholic churches in Stearns County, Minnesota by Bob and John Roscoe; and insights into the career of Marion Alice Parker, a successful and rare “lady architect” of the early twentieth century who worked in the Prairie school aspects of progressive design, presented by Nicole Watson.
