At Christ Church Lutheran,
we say, “Welcome to the Light!”
What does that mean?

The welcome comes not from the surface but from deep within us—it is something you will feel the first time you visit.

It is you who are welcome, whoever you are—regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, mental and physical challenges, economic status, views and beliefs.

The welcome is genuine, even though it comes from imperfect people.

We all live in daily need of God’s mercy, which heals, forgives, and reconciles us. Our welcome has its source not in us but in our namesake, Christ Jesus. Christ is the one who welcomes, and Christ is the Light. That light is reflected in our beautiful sanctuary and, we hope, in the faces and actions of every member and guest among us. Welcome to the Light!

Whether you’re visiting once or think you might like to call Christ Church your church home, we welcome you warmly. Feel free to reach out to any staff member if you have questions. We look forward to welcoming you with joy.
